Penguin Wearing Scarf Coloring Page

Here is a happy little bird sitting high up on a block of ice. The penguin waves one flipper cheerfully while wearing a cozy striped scarf around its neck. Up in the sky, a friendly smiling sun shines bright beside soft clouds. Tiny snowflakes and round bits of drifting snow float all around the winter scene. You can print out this Penguin Wearing Scarf coloring page for a cozy afternoon of quiet creativity.

Classic black and white work nicely for the body of the penguin, leaving its tummy light and clean. You might make the beak and webbed feet bright yellow or orange. For the striped scarf, encourage your artist to alternate between two favorite colors like blue and green or red and white. A soft blue background around the sun and clouds helps the ice block stand out nicely on the sheet.

When coloring, medium tip markers or colored pencils give great control for filling in the stripes and snowflakes without going outside the lines. While your child colors, you can count the four large snowflakes together or talk about how wild penguins live in cold regions. It is a wonderful way to practice fine motor skills while enjoying some quiet winter fun.
