About this Peacock Displaying Tail Feathers… coloring page
A cheerful peacock stands on a green patch of ground. Its huge tail feathers are spread out behind it like a giant fan. Each feather section has smooth round eye spots waiting for bright colors. The bird wears a little crest on top of its head and has a sweet smile. On the ground near its feet, you can see tall grass blades and two pretty flowers blooming.
You can pick traditional peacock colors like bright blue for the body and rich green for the tail. The round eye shapes inside the feathers look great in yellow, orange, or light blue. Since this Peacock Displaying Tail Feathers… coloring page has many different shapes, encourage your child to color one row at a time. Taking breaks helps keep young hands comfortable.
Before starting, ask your child to count all the round feather spots on the tail. You can also tell them that real male peacocks display their big feathers to get attention in nature.
